Google provides a special service for local businesses called Google My Business. You’ve almost definitely used GMB before, whenever you do a Google search and a map comes up with local businesses on.
Getting set up on Google My Business and claiming your listing is simple. If your business isn’t already on Google Maps, just go to Google Business and click on the “Manage Now” button to get started
Alternatively, you might find that your business is already listed on Google My Business, all you have to do is “claim” it, meaning Google will verify that you own the business (by sending you a card in the post with a code to enter), then you can make edits and update your GMB. To do this, find your business on Google My Business and click the “Own this business?” link.
If you haven’t already claimed your GMB listing and want some help, we guide osteopaths through claiming their GMB listing for free. We’ll set up and claim your listing for you and show you how to log in and change your information. Just drop us a line and we’ll get started. Please note this service is available for osteopaths only.
